Apa Itu Paralegal ?
Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Hukum Dan HakAsasi Manusia Republik Indonesia Nomor 3 Tahun 2021 Tentang Paralegal Dalam Pemberian Bantuan Hukum. Paralegal Adalah Setiap Orang Yang Berasal Dari Komunitas, Masyarakat, Atau Pemberi Bantuan Hukum Yang Telah Mengikuti Pelatihan Paralegal, Tidak Berprofesi Sebagai Advokat, Dan Tidak Secara Mandiri Mendampingi Penerima Bantuan Hukum Di Pengadilan
(pasal 1 Ayat 5).
Sesuai Dengan Pasal 4 Peraturan Menteri Hukum Dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia Nomor 3 Tahun 2021 Tentang Paralegal Dalam Pemberian Bantuan Hukum, Untuk Dapat Direkrut Menjadi Paralegal, Harus Memenuhi Persyaratan Sebagai Berikut
a. warga negara Indonesia;
b. berusia paling rendah 18 (delapan belas) tahun;
c. memiliki kemampuan membaca dan menulis;
d. bukan anggota tentara nasional indonesia, polisi republik indonesia, atau aparatur sipil negara; dan
e. memenuhi syarat lain yang ditentukan oleh pemberi bantuan hukum dan tidak bertentangan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan.
